I got my Gillet

Hiiiii all,

I’m back. The weather is starting to get cold and I need a gilet. I have been thinking about getting a gilet for a few weeks now. I wanted a large black gilet becuase I saw a girl wearing one in Shoreditch recently and it was perfect.

So I have been looking around. Thanks to my mate I went into H&M today just to see what was in the sale.  As I’m walking back from looking at the last bit of sale stock, I saw this fur thing hunched up on a stand. I picked it up and I could not believe my eyes It was a gilet. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen in the whole shop.

My heart was beating so fast I threw off my jacket and tried it on, I fell in love right there and then.
This is me with it on in the shop. This is my gilet at home.

This is a bargain buy because I will be wearing this again this time next year and the year after.

Wonderful and weird - Twitter Mania

Hi guys,

Now I like Twitter, it’s a great idea wish I thought of it. Twitter doesn’t really need to promote themselves as aggressively as others. Well that’s what I thought until I came across these babies.

Twitter tights? I think that is mad, I would never in a million years imagine Twitter would do tights? Unless it’s just Jo blog trying to capitalize on the name.

Funnily enough I actually like those tights. I would wear them, not because of them name but just because its different and I heart different. These can be brought online at for £14.80, cough, cough.

I’m bargainbbe so I won’t be paying that price. Maybe I wont be wearing those tights after all, unless someone wants to sort me out? Brig Grin.

Cool tights, go Twitter!

Wonderful and weird - Nail art

Afternoon guys

I am a fan of nail art but I have to admit I am lazy. I am most likely to just put on one colour of nail varnish, my experimentation would be doing two nail varnish colours on one hand.

When I saw the following nail art I was amazed. A new exhibition ‘Nailphilia‘ at the DegreeArt gallery are showcasing an exhibition dedicated to nail art. To put this into concept, nail art is seen as a creative accessory. The idea of showcasing it in a gallery somewhat pushes boundaries and allows people to recognise what nail art really is, art.

Who remembers these babies from Beyonce’s Run the World video. This nail art clearly pushes practicality.
Jewelery Designer Laruicci. Imagine Micheal Jackson doing his famous pose with this on his finger. Everyone would need to get out the way for that one.

Love the images, it is simply wonderful and weird.

Wonderful and weird - Jump from paper

I have been telling my friend recently I need a new bag. I was search the Internet for a new bag and I came across jumpfrompaper.

Designers Chay Su and Rika Lin came up with the 2 dimensional idea after seeing a retailers 3 dimensional window display. Each bag is produced from hand-drawn, two-dimensional illustrations. The resemblance to a cartoon picture is uncanny. Despite its appearance the interior that can accommodate all personal belongings, including laptops.

Chay Su and Rika Lin seek to bring humor and a new generation of light-heartedness to consumer product design.

The bags are currently sold in Asia and on some online sites. I’ve heard these bags can even been found eBay.

I will be keeping a look out.

Wonderful and weird - Digitized Eyeshadow

I was scrolling the internet as you do and I came across an unusual invention, Digitized Eyeshadow. Yes you heard right Digitized Eyeshadow. This is the love child of Lulin Ding. The concept replaces traditional eyeshadow with wearable leds

According to Ding the original concept came from Dings fascination with eyeshadow. She originally wanted
the product to use light to paint on the eyelid when you blink and close your eyes. The digitization came in place when Ding decided to  programme individual LEDs so the brightness and patterns vary.

Ladies don’t worry this product can be worn with ease as the products wires are held in a wire frame. It is lightweight so you wouldn’t even know it’s there.

Well done to Ding for thinking outside the box. Not sure it will catch on but I would give everything a go. At least once.

Check out the video:

Hi all,

I was feeling a little blue, boom boom. See what I did there. Ok so that was corny.

Today I went all sexy casual. I love this top but it is a little bit confusing. When I put it on I sometime’s put my head in the arm part. That’s me sober.

Top from Topshop and jeans from H&M, oldie but they are a goody.
